ZUMBA

Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms like salsa, merengue, cumbia, and samba set to sexy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, their abs, arms, and thighs are toned up and their energy level is soaring! There's no other fitness class like the Zumba Fitness Party. It's easy to do, effective, and totally exhilarating! (No experience necessary!)

DRUMS ALIVE - CARDIO DRUMMING

Drums Alive® joins the dynamic movements of aerobic dance with the pulsating rhythms of the drum. It is a unique sensorimotor program that is designed to give the mind and body instant feedback through continuous movement and rhythmical flow. It is a program that utilizes “whole brain – whole body” thinking by developing sensorimotor reflexes and kinesthetic awareness. The physiological and psychological benefits are numerous and include those found in traditional forms of aerobic fitness. The goal of Drums Alive® is to improve lives physically, psychologically, and socially, through a unique sensory motor drumming program involving drumsticks, an exercise ball, and music.  Have fun while drumming yourself healthy!

Passionate Dance

CARDIO DANCE

Cardio Dance is a high energy, fast paced aerobic dance workout with easy to follow choreography, all set to great music ranging from the newest pop and hip hop tunes to everyone's favorite oldies. (Similar to zumba or a Werq class)  Sneakers recommended.

 GYROKINESIS(R)

The GYROKINESIS(R) Method is a powerful and natural movement system used for conditioning,

stretching, and strengthening, while improving balance and overall body awareness. Based on

moving the spine within natural planes of motion, this guided flow coordinates movement, breath

and mental focus to promote stability around the joints, while increasing range of motion. People

of all ages and all fitness levels can participate. A mat and stool will be provided.

BASIC SELF DEFENSE AND LIFE SKILLS

This class teaches basic self defense, & life skills.  Promotes exercise, flexibility, and balance.  A good mix for beginner to intermediate martial artists.  This class is taught by Jim Adkins, who has 48 years of experience.  He is an international self defense expert, and is a 10th degree blackbelt grand master.  He is also a 35 generation Shaolin kung fu disciple monk, and a Tai Chi and weapons expert.​

Enjoy warm-up sequences aimed at increasing mobility and body connections. There will also be explorations of choreography and phrases to apply concepts introduced in class.  This class may also be enjoyed by dropping in and out as schedule allows to create a class structure that anyone can enjoy no matter what life throws at you.  Any level of experience is welcome!

HISTORICAL DANCE

If you can walk, you can dance!  Explore different styles of dance spanning hundreds of years from the stately Pavan to a bit more 

lively English Country Dance.  No previous experiences is necessary and all abilities are welcome.  Also, no partner required.  Learn the 

basics and expand your repertoire.  I promise you will smile and laugh!
